Nielsen Arts Gallery and Custom Framing is a family owned business. Founded in 1962. Patrick Mercer is the third owner of this sixty year old Berkeley business. The long time General Manager and maitre'd of nextdoor Rivoli Restaurant, running this neighborhood business was a natural transition. With a background in Art and Framing Mercer bought the business and converted the small one man shop into a thriving modern art gallery and state of the art full service frame shop.
Nielsen Arts offers quality custom framing at competitive prices in a relaxed, friendly environment. Our well trained staff have strong art backgrounds and a keen design aesthetic. Our shop features the latest picture framing equipment to execute projects of all sizes. We offer pickup, delivery and installation.
